Nothing is more dissatisfying that hiring the wrong person for the job. Unfortunately, people have become pretty good at bullshitting their way through interviews to land the job. Although most organizations have a HR team, not all jobs are being filled and the jobs that are filled may not be filled with the right fitted candidate. My advice is to ignore the stigmas of Staffing Agencies and partner with one instead, here’s why:
- Recruiters specialize in one field. They spend their workday reading through resumes, reading up on the company, phone screening candidates and submitting candidates for several open positions. Aka, they know their shit.
- Believe it or not- you will save money through a Staffing Agency. Your company skips the stress of pre-employment testing fees. Not to mention a Staffing Agency isn’t going to put a candidate through that is far beyond the price range, just like you they want to find a solid candidate at a solid price.
- The network is massive. Just like it says up above, recruiters talk to several candidates per day, and they always save their files for when other job opportunities come up. With a database as big as theirs, they can easily contact possible candidates.
- You save your precious time. The reason you need a Staffing Agency is because you 1) Don’t know much about the position and would need to take time to read up on it, 2) Don’t care about who gets hired for the position, especially if it’s in a different department or at a much different level, and 3) You can’t be bothered reading through resumes and responding to emails about the position.
A Staffing Agency may not be as valuable to every company, but they are valuable in every industry.
